Rain

Rain

A girl sits outside
Huddled against the wall
As the rain pours down
Not feeling the cold wind outside
Or the wet drops hitting her skin
She doesn't care that her hair is wet
Or her clothes soaked
She feels the rain no one sees
The fierce wind that chills her soul
Teardrops bleeding from her heart
Thundering words being repeated in her mind
Her only comfort is hoping
Someday, somehow
The rainbow will come into her heart
