Shooting Stars

All of these stars, how could He possibly number them all? How could He have created all these thousands of beautiful stars? As I look at them very closely, they are each and every one just a little bit different. No two are exactly alike. Yet, each one has their place, their spot in the enormous sky. A world that has no limit, no end, yet they shine on each doing their part to light up the sky. Some shine brighter than others. They have realized their worth and have the confidence to show that to the world each and every night. However, some are still struggling to find their identity, their spot in the universe. Always wanting something better, something more. Then suddenly one darts across the sky trying to get to that better place, only to realize it isn't what they expected. So, again they shoot across the sky still aiming for that one spot in heaven they think is perfect for them, only to find they again did not belong. Across the sky they fly from place to place never being truly filled, until one day they finally stop to rest, and look around to discover that this is it. The perfect place in heaven. The one meant just for them. Only little did they know that they were back to where they first began. Back to the spot God himself and originally placed them.

He knows. Yes, there is a God up there who knows us better than we know ourselves. If we would only trust in Him we will find the love He has for us. Then we will see the perfect place He has chosen for us to be is more exquisite than we could have ever imagined.
